Underwater pool lighting
Underwater lighting decides what the pool looks like once it is dark. We stock lights for concrete shells and for liner pools, in standard, mini and slim sizes, along with the transformers and RGB modules that drive them. Lights are planned before the concrete, because their housing sets into the wall.

Concrete or liner
A light for a concrete shell has a housing that is built into the wall during construction. A liner light is fitted differently, with a gasket that clamps the sheet. We stock both, but the type is decided before the concrete is poured.
How many lights
It depends on the length and the shape of the pool. The practical rule is that the light should not come from one side only, because then half the pool stays dark and the water looks cloudy even when it is clean.
Common questions
Can lighting be added to an existing pool?
In a liner pool this is straightforward. In a concrete shell it needs wall work and a conduit run, so it is looked at case by case.
What voltage do the lights use?
Underwater lights run at low voltage through a transformer, not directly from the mains. The transformer and the protection unit are part of the installation.
