How to choose a model
The choice comes down to three things: whether the pool is above ground or in the ground, how big it is, and whether you want the walls and waterline cleaned as well as the floor.
- Above-ground pool with a flat floor: the basic models are enough
- In-ground pool with walls: the model needs to climb walls
- A lot of leaves on the surface: a surface skimmer robot solves that better than a floor robot
- Large pools: you need longer battery endurance
If you are not sure, send us the dimensions of the pool and we will tell you which model makes sense. That is quicker than reading specification tables.
What a robot does not do
A robot does not replace balancing the water chemistry, and it does not replace the filter. It removes the dirt you can see and saves the weekly hour you used to spend with a vacuum head. The water still needs circulation, filtration and disinfection.
Common questions
Are robotic pool cleaners worth it?
If you currently vacuum the pool yourself, a robot removes almost all of that work, which is why most buyers do not go back. If the pool is always covered and there are few leaves around it, the benefit is smaller.
Does an Aiper robot need a cable?
No. The models we sell run on a battery, with no cord and no connection to the filtration system. They charge out of the water.
Where is the warranty handled?
With us. We are the authorised Aiper dealer, so the warranty and spare parts come through us.
